This thing eats batteries. Then in the second season the switch started acting up and then eventually the whole thing just died. I had better luck with the Flare 2. The Flare 3 is not worth paying extra for.
Pros
- Great visibility
- Lots of mounting options
Cons
Best Uses
- Rear safety light
Comments:
I like the steady mode during early morning group rides and the flash mode for when I'm alone on the commute. The larger button makes it easy to operate with gloved hands. I chose to clamp mine on the seat stay where I can reach the light without dismounting. There's plenty of hardware included, too.
Pros
- Great visibility
- Long battery life
Cons
- None
Best Uses
- Rear safety light
Comments:
This is a great light to ensure you are seen, from night rides to daytime riding/commuting. The flashing mode is the best I've seen for grabbing the attention of distracted drivers. No complaints, only praise, especially for the price.
